Last week, Lubritech Argentina conducted an Industrial Lubrication Training Course at an important Thermal Power Plant in Southern Argentina.
This region is becoming increasingly relevant for the country’s energy development, particularly due to its proximity to Vaca Muerta, where unconventional hydrocarbon production continues to grow steadily.
The training covered key topics such as:
Tribology and its impact on equipment reliability.
Lubricant composition, including base oils and additives.
Contamination Control, emphasizing how proper practices can extend equipment life by reducing water, particles, gases, and varnish in lubrication systems.
The main aspects of High-Velocity Hydraulic Flushing were also reviewed, highlighting ASTM D-6439 and ASTM D-4378 standards. Additionally, our lubricant purification technologies were presented:

The course was led by Roberto Romero and Cristian Schmid, with the active participation of over 10 professionals from the Mechanical Maintenance Department.
